How long are the Sunday group runs?
The Sunday group runs aree designed to be a long run. The course is usually 10-14 miles, either a loop or out and back. The course is marked at every turn, with the first half of the route having turns marked coming back, too. You can make it as long or short as you need. We have water stops every 2 miles. All runs start and end at Run 816.
What time are the Sunday group runs?
Spring and Summer start at 7:00 am, Fall and Winter start at 8:00 am. See the Calendar for current starting time.
Do you have a changing room? Place to leave my keys?
We have a changing room and a restroom you can change in. We have storage cubicles where you can stash your keys, coat, gym bag, etc.
Where do I park?
There is a parking lot next to our space. You are welcome to park in any of our 4 reserved spaces, or in any unmarked space. There is also plenty of street parking.
I need new shoes, but I don't know where to start. Can you help me?
Yes- we'd love to help you. We have a 3 part fitting process: measure your arch type, measure length and width the old fashioned way, and a treadmill gait analysis. We'll ask you some questions about how you'll be using the shoes (running (road, trails, treadmill), gym, everyday use, etc); any current or previous injuries, what you've liked/not liked in previous shoes, etc. No worries- there are no right or wrong answers. We use that information, along with your measurements, to narrow it down to 3 or 4 shoes that will best match up with you. After trying them on, we hope you will find a pair or 2 (or 3 or 4!) that you love. You should allow about 30 minutes for the entire fitting process and trying on shoes. You don't need an appointment, first come first serve!
What's your return policy?
New unused product with original box, tags, packaging, and receipt can be exchanged or refunded for 30 days from date of purchase. Product that has been used may be exchanged or returned for store credit (with original receipt) for 30 days from date of purchase. No cash or credit refunds on used merchandise.
Can I order another color?
Run 816 does not offer special orders. As a small business, it is imperative that we manage our inventory effectively, which means selling what we have in stock. While we can't carry every color a shoe is made in or every model a brand makes, what we do offer in abundance is customer service. While you may not always have multiple color options to choose from, you WILL receive top notch service and a great shopping experience.
